Job Title: Zone Manager - London Area Reporting to: Operations Manager Overview To take ownership of a technical maintenance account with full responsibility for the successful delivery of all day-to-day operations through a large team of mobile engineering operatives and site based engineers. Main Duties and Responsibilities This role will include a variety of tasks including the following:· To be responsible for all planned and reactive maintenance activities with the goal of improving plant reliability and enabling successful client operations.· To be responsible for the day to day running of multi-site operations and to ensure all health and safety and quality procedures are complied with, including toolbox talks.· Client business continuity to be maintained at all times with specific attention to reporting on performance of planned and reactive works.· Maintain daily management interface between AMBS and the customers.· Deliver a business relationship with the client that continually challenges processes and seeks improvements to support the clients core business.· Responsible for commercial management of contracts in their area· Ensure that any customer concerns are dealt with effectively and efficiently and communicated accordingly. · Customer satisfaction is to be maintained at the highest level by providing a high quality and pro-active service.· Engineer development to ensure that a high quality team is maintained including performance management, succession planning and personal development.· Identify cost efficiencies within the management of the contract· Provide adequate skills, training and resources to meet technical requirements of all clients, in compliance with training standards and processes.· Develop mobile * manned teams in to a customer-focused unit through regular team briefings· Create and take ownership of new client development opportunities · Disciplinary and personnel issues stage 1· Ensure continual quality audits are carried out The post holder will be able to demonstrate the following:
